In preparing future Christian leaders, Campbellsville University has expanded its campus footprint throughout Kentucky with Regional Education Centers. These fully accredited regional centers can be found in Louisville and Somerset, in addition to the main Campbellsville campus. Offering part-time and long-distance coursework for continuing students, our three Campbellsville University locations allow you to fulfill your academic dreams.
Currently, the CU Louisville center offers associate, bachelor, and master degrees in a wide variety of fields. These include programs in Business, Criminal Justice, Education, Social Work and Theology all of which are grounded in Christian values. Furthermore, the Louisville center also boasts an English as a Second Language Institute (ESLI), which guides nonnative English speakers to improve their speaking, reading, and writing skills. To speed up the learning process, CU Louisville offers programs on an accelerated 8 week term basis with classes that only meet one night per week (Monday-Thursday). At this pace, students can expect to receive a degree in as little as 18 months.
Meanwhile, the Larry and Beverly Noe Somerset Education Center offers five accelerated bachelor’s programs for adult learners. These include the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (with a Human Resource Management emphasis), Criminal Justice Administration, Early Childhood Education, Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Development, and Social Work. Unlike many other colleges in Kentucky, Somerset class sizes are always small, and meet only two nights per week (Monday-Friday). Tuition fees are also reduced for Somerset Community College students.
In addition, the newly renovated Cosmetology School at the Brockman Center in Hodgenville, Kentucky is now accepting applications for students at Campbellsville University's second Cosmetology location!
In addition to our Regional Centers, Campbellsville University has made it easy for continuing learners to enroll in our specialized online programs. Students around the country can receive a quality, Christ-centered education, without needing to commute to a physical campus or relocate to Kentucky.
No matter which pathway you choose to reach your educational goals, Campbellsville University is an excellent option for continued studies. We are also accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), which recognizes distinguished colleges in Kentucky. Our post-secondary programs are facilitated by a remarkable group of full-time and adjunct faculty, including Christopher Sanders, H. Keith Spears, Dr. Marilyn Goodwin, and Dr. Pat Cowherd.
