Welcome to the Larry and Beverly Noe Somerset Education Center

Campbellsville University imagines a global society where individuals are empowered to achieve their goals — no matter their age or mental ability — and teachers can transform others with Christian leadership. To achieve this vision, we prepare our instructors with an academic framework built on scholarship, service, and Christian fellowship. We are looking for curious and caring scholars who are determined to improve the education system in today’s connected world.

In preparing future Christian leaders, Campbellsville has expanded its campus footprint throughout Kentucky with Regional Education Centers. These centers can be found in Somerset and Louisville, in addition to the main Campbellsville campus. Offering part-time and long-distance coursework for continuing students, our three Campbellsville University locations allow you to fulfill your academic dreams.

At the Larry and Beverly Noe Somerset Education Center, we offer five accelerated bachelor’s programs for adult learners. These include the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (with a Human Resource Management emphasis), Criminal Justice Administration, Early Childhood Education, Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education, and Social Work. Unlike many colleges in Kentucky, CU Somerset class sizes are always small and meet only two nights per week (Monday-Friday), four hours a night. Courses are organized in a manageable bi-term format, where each term is eight weeks long. Tuition fees are also reduced for Somerset Community College students.

After enrolling in a blended degree program through Campbellsville University Somerset, students can take classes from anywhere with an Internet connection — at lower cost than a physical campus program. Classes are kept to a small, intimate size, with coursework that blends practical and theoretical knowledge. Many of our associate’s courses are eligible for CU transfer credit towards a bachelor’s degree.

No matter which pathway you choose to reach your academic goals, Campbellsville University Somerset is an excellent option for continued studies. Our Education Center is facilitated by an exceptional group of full-time and adjunct faculty, including Dr. Marilyn Goodwin and Ellen Hamilton-Ford.
